Amina Mustapha Ismail hails from Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from Sharda International University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, and a certificate in Convergence Journalism from Tech Alvida, New Delhi. Her professional career spans media, creative enterprise, and public administration. She worked with Unfair Web, an India-based online publication, and served as Reporter, Presenter, and Co-producer at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Zamfara State, where she anchored Weekend Flavor and Muryar Mata, a Hausa programme focused on highlighting the roles and achievements of prominent women in Zamfara State. She later served as News Director at Alumma TV and Managing Director of The Stewardship Magazine. As Executive Secretary of the Zamfara State Censorship Board, she strengthened media ethics, creative regulation, and digital policy reform in the state. She is a Member of the International Press Institute (IPI) and a Rotarian Fellow. Currently, as Managing Director of ZSIPDL, she oversees the company’s strategic investment agenda, promoting infrastructure development, innovation, and partnerships that advance Zamfara’s economic diversification and growth.
